FAQ
-
Do you do private groups?Yes. A minimum of 10 people in a booking for a day course, with a 50% non-refundable deposit (except if Jake cancels, in which case a full refund will be given). School groups, corporate events and jam sessions for people living with disabilities are also some of Jake's favourite events - so please contact Jake to discuss further.
-
Are your courses pet friendly? Not if the course is at Walkabout Wildlife Sanctuary, but depending on the location, yes! Just contact Jake to check if you're not sure - but also do keep in mind that we are in the bush, so your pet will need to stay close or be on a lead to protect wildlife. Obviously only bring your pet if you are confident it is friendly to people and other pets.
-
Why do FAQs matter?FAQs are a great way to help site visitors find quick answers to common questions about your business and create a better navigation experience.
-
Are your courses suitable for people living with a disability? In most cases, yes. We try to cater to all people, however profound disabilities may limit a participants ability to be in a bush environment. The level of activity for one day courses & White Patch is relatively low, so as long as there is a basic level of fitness, none of the walking is too challenging.
-
What happens if it rains? If it is light rain, or non-torrential, courses continue. There is an undercover area we can use. Please do bring a rain coat. Courses are only cancelled in the case of extreme weather events. You will be notified by sms if a course is cancelled.
-
What is an FAQ section? An FAQ section can be used to quickly answer common questions about your business like "Where do you ship to?", "What are your opening hours?", or "How can I book a service?".

You can camp on the property right next to your car and the camp site - easy and convenient! And if you have a pet you want to bring, as long as they are friendly they can come camping too!
-
Are children welcome?Yes, children are welcome to the Family Bushskills course, as long as they are 3 years or older. For White Patch - ages 13+ For Yellow Patch - ages 15+ For Green & Blue Patches - ages 18+
-
What do I need to bring to your courses? You need to bring food, water, sunscreen, hat, rain jacket or any other equipment you think you may need for your time in the bush. Jake doesn't provide any of that - just a great experience in the bush and a whole lot of learning and fun!
