White Patch - Level 1 @ Walkabout Wildlife Sanctuary - New Location!

Plant-focused Survival Course - ages 13+

The 2 day White Patch course is the level 1 Plant-focused Survival course focusing on fundamental survival skills with a strong emphasis on utilizing edible and medicinal wild plant (Jake's specialty).

This fun, educational and engaging course is guaranteed to change the way you look at the Aussie bush forever!

• be educated and build confidence in regard to identifying and using edible and medicinal native and introduced plants
• learn fundamental survival skills (fire, shelter, water and food)
• establish and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with the land and all its inhabitants
• gain important advice on safe and sustainable foraging preparation ideas and tasting wildfood sustainability & environmental awareness
• campfire stories, music and bushcraft related discussions

🌿Walkabout Wildlife Sanctuary offers free camping - either in your own tent/van or they will  provide (but let them know in advance).  You can also book cabin accomodation directly with them for an extra fee.  Call (02) 4375 1100 to book.

Arrive: Saturday 9.45am sharp for a 10am start. (optional early set up on Friday afternoon - meet Jake at 4.30pm).

Finish: Approx 4pm, Sunday

Self Sufficient Camping: Depending on what you book, you will still need your own creature comforts.

To bring: NOTEBOOK & PEN! Warm / cool layers, walking shoes, sun hat, raincoat, bottle of water and food. Please be prepared for colder nights

Food and drink: Bring all your food and water for the weekend. We will have a campfire to cook over if needed

All events go ahead rain, hail or shine!  Tickets are non-refundable however can be transferred.
